Emotional Fitness Coaching

When I work with clients, I liken it to physical fitness, but instead of exercising our physical muscles, we’re exercising our emotional ones. We can recognize this from other practices - yoga, golf, playing an instrument - the more we practice, the easier we get in the zone, the stronger and clearer our core, the more balanced on and off the mat. Same for our emotional and energetic center, as we build up and increase our strength and flexibility, the better able to navigate in the moment, the more moments of peace and balance, calm and contentment.

What is Emotional Fitness?

Emotional Fitness is a process to help strengthen and balance our emotions through practice and exercise. We use tools like writing, guided meditation, ritual, sound and creativity, to build our “muscles”  and increase resilience and enrich life. Together, we develop a robust toolkit and ongoing individualized exercise program.

A simple example  - we know when we’re lifting a heavy box, to bend our knees and engage our physical core - same for emotional fitness, when facing large things in life, or the smallest most trivial things - it’s best to bend at the “knees”  and engage our emotional core. What is our emotional core, and how to find and develop it, is the practice, and together we will devise an exercise program, designed to help you do that.
